Dear Families, We are off to a great start this school year! Last week we started our Equals math and this week we will add reading and writing to our schedule! Our Instructional Assistants this year are Ms. Truesdale, who has been with us the last few years, and Ms. Dukes, who is new to MSDLT! We welcome her! Thursday is Back to School Night. Hi Families! It is hard to believe it is the last week of school! The students have all worked hard and have made academic growth! This week we will finish assessments and then prepare to say good-bye to our 6th graders! The families of the four 6th graders are invited to attend the 6th grade celebration on Thursday, May 28th starting at 11:45. Dear Families, Here is an update for the week of April 13th. The NCSC state testing is going well with the students! So far, the students have been focused and have worked hard on this test! Thank you for sending your child to school rested! Because of this testing, the only homework I am asking the students to do is to read for 20 minutes a night.  The Book Fair is going on all week! Hi Families! Our ULS unit this month is called _My State History._  The students are learning about Indiana being part of the 50 states in the United States. They are also learning about how life was different long ago. Our News 2 You units have been on Black History Monty,The Best Bagger, Maple Syrup Time, and Read Across America Day! Hi Families! We are getting back into the school routine! Hopefully, we will not have any more school cancellations! This month, Unique Learning System is focusing on Staying Healthy. The students are learning about how to keep their bodies healthy by exercising, eating right, and getting enough sleep! Two students were honored today for perfect attendance in the second quarter!
