_Room 25 News!_ Dear Families, We have started off very well for the 2nd semester. Students are currently in the first round of ISTAR testing. They are doing their personal best and I am proud of them! Please remember _we will have school on February 16th and March 22nd_ as these will be make up days from the days that were cancelled due to weather. We will have a Friendship Party on February 14th! In case you missed the newsletter that was sent home on Friday, October 6th... Dear Families, We made it through the 1st quarter of school! I have really enjoyed this class and love all the students! They have worked hard on reading, comprehension and math, as well as learning about laws in our social studies unit. When we return we will work on the physics concept of motion. March 23, 2016 Dear Families, Today was our last day of school until April 4th! Please have a safe and fun Spring Break! In April when we return to school, we will have a short 8 weeks left. Our second semester has started very well! We just finished the 2nd round of ISTAR testing and all the students did their personal best! Our ULS unit this month is "Matter". Please ask your student what the three types of matter are. They should be able to answer with solid, liquid, and gas. Children's Museum Night at Crestview is Wednesday, January 27th! Dear Parents, We have been working hard since returning from Fall Break! We are finishing our ULS unit on Living in an Ecosystem. Our November unit will be on Geography. August 28, 2015 Dear Families, We had library today and some of the students chose to take their books home. Please have them keep the books in their backpacks. When they are ready to read them, they can take them out to read. Then, have them return books to backpack.
